XM-Sirius result looks good

FCC chairman Kevin Martin, interviewed on CNBC Thursday said that he hoped to be able to announce his decision “soon” on the XM-Sirius merger.

And reading between the lines of his comments leads to the conclusion that the merger will be approved. Specifically Mr Martin said that the two satellite broadcasters had agreed to certain regulatory concessions in order to overcome what he described as difficult issues. He said he hoped that the FCC would be able to do something on it “soon”.
