Canal+ Overseas to offer web access
Canal+ Overseas plans to sell web access as well as telephony to its 300,000 subscribers in the French overseas territories and departments. The offer could be made either with third parties or with their own, proprietary solution, according to the Le Figaro newspaper.
Jean-NoŽl Tronc, president of the Overseas operation, said various business models would be tested. The telecom company Mediaserv is already offering triple play in Guadeloupe including the Canal bouquet.
