Bis TV not satisfied with 60,000 subs

Low cost French satellite package Bis Télévision has recruited 60,000 subscribers since its launch last December. Owner AB Group admitted that such a result was not satisfying enough but that it didn’t intend to give up.

Over the first year, AB Group forecasts were to attract 200,000 subs. Available for €4.90, the bouquet gives access to some 30 channels.

Regarding new media, AB Group, whose 33.5% of the stakes are owned by TF1, also announced the launch of its on-demand and catch-up TV websites, RepeatLAB and TvodLAB.
