Thread: How can I use my M2+ Card with NewCS?

  1. #1

    Question How can I use my M2+ Card with NewCS?

    i have an M2+ card that is working fine in a technomate receiver, but i would like to use it in my networked dreambox. ive found that newcs 1.50 and mgcamd 1.30a will both recognise the card, but no information passes between them for requesting keys

    has anyone got one to work in a dreambox?

    heres some of the log file for the card

    [ 19:59:14 ] [ Sci ] Opening device /dev/sci0
    [ 19:59:16 ] [ ATR ] T=0 1etu=372.00us Guardtime:12etu WWT:9600etu
    [ 19:59:16 ] [ ATR ] Historical bytes: 0 B 0 0
    [ 19:59:16 ] [ Loader ] Init Conax card
    [ 19:59:16 ] [ Keyman ] Adding key 43112DDB type 0 on Provider 000000 for caid 0 B00 ID=0
    [ 19:59:16 ] [ Keyman ] Adding key 22A933 type 1 on Provider 000000 for caid 0B0 0 ID=0
    [ 19:59:18 ] [ Loader ] Card 0B00 on port /dev/sci0 failed
    i know the card is fine, as it works in another receiver, i know my configs are fine as i can put an official card into my receiver and view it on the other 2 receivers in the house as well

    any heklp would be great

    Re: M2+ and newCS

    it works great also with newcs

    you just have to find an old one (version 1.13) with a config like this

    Re: M2+ and newCS

    ok with newcs you have to find newcs 1.13

    i had found it only WITH NEMESIS IMAGE,no were else

    for newcamd you have to make something like this on your configs

    first in var/tuxbox/config

    in cardserv.cfg file

    DESKEY = 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    SERVER_NAME = testline
    DEBUG_PORT = 12002
    ENTITLEMENT_PORT = 12003
    ADMIN_PORT = 12004
    ADMIN_PASSWORD = secret 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    USER = root dreambox lan localhost 12000
    #
    # card slot
    #
    SERIAL_PORT = 1
    TCP_PORT = 11000
    EMM-G = yes
    EMM-S = yes
    EMM-U = yes
    SPECIAL_FEATURES = yes
    DISABLE_PIN = yes

    then in var/tuxbox/config
    in newcamd.cfg file add this line

    CWS = localhost 11000 root dreambox 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan testline

    then on your cccam.cfg file add this line

    N: 127.0.0.1 11000 root dreambox 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    restart cccam and newcamd and you will have picture
