Com Hem signs 500,000th broadband customer

Swedish cablenet Com Hem now has 500,000 broadband internet customers on its books.

The landmark was reached following the August launch of its broadband XL product that offers subscribers speeds of between 25 and 50 Mbps.

“We have seen a steady increase in the number of broadband customers,” said product head Marie Johansson. “The fact we have now reached half a million customers is proof that we have offerings our customers like.”

Com Hem is continuing the rollout of the XL broadband service through the autumn and winter in Gothenburg, Malmo and Stockholm.

Earlier this month Com Hem announced its telephony service had reached 300,000 subscribers.
