Cartoon Network and Pogo continue to dominate kids' television space in India with their compelling content. Enjoying a combined market share of 45 per cent, both the channels maintain their undisputed position as the number one and number two kids channels in India respectively, according to the TAM Media Research data.

Cartoon Network ruled across all television genres in 2008 each time its Indian animation line up aired. Krishna Janmasthmi – (Krishna- The Birth, Krishna–Makhan Chor, Krishna-In Vrindavan and Krishna–Kansa Vadh) garnered 36 per cent shares; Ganpati (Bal Ganesh and My friend Ganesha) enjoyed a 44 per cent share and Diwali festival gathered 25 per cent share.
The network's classic Tom & Jerry continues to be the all-time favourite across demographics retaining Cartoon Network's top position with the highest share of 39 per cent.
Pogo has the highest number of movie titles (99) and shows (34) amongst kids' channel in India. The channel rules the mornings through the week as reflected by its strong performance during this day-part.
Pogo's first Indian Animation acquisition, Chhota Bheem was a winner as it garnered the highest share of 31.48 per cent when it aired. Further, the channel led with the special block for mothers and their preschoolers called Tiny TV as it was watched by 30 per cent of mothers. M.A.D. rules the Sunday mornings with 25.1 per cent channel share
