AXN leads Spain's thematic channels
Sony's AXN ended 2008 as the leader of non-premium thematic channels in Spain.
After AXN, the next two most popular channels were Fox and Calle 13.
AXN had an audience share of 3.4%, or 29,259 viewers as a daily average. But taking into consideration just data registered in prime time during 2008 the channel reached a share of 4.2% and a daily average of 78,243 viewers above Fox, Calle 13 and Canal Hollywood.
Moreover considering all pay TV channels AXN places itself just one percentage point below premium channel Canal+ which reaches 4.3% of share.
