Hungarian broadband take up grows

Data produced by Hungary’s National Communications Authority (NHH) shows that the number of landline broadband access points in the country stood at 1.52 million at the end of November 2008. The number of ADSL subscriptions amounted to 791,000, while 525,000 homes received cable Internet services provided by UPC, T-Kábel, FiberNet and Digi, the four largest cable operators.
