Official launch for TeleSat
The Belgian French language DTH service TeleSat was officially launched. The bouquet is available in two versions, Basic and Basic Light.
The entry-level subscription costs EUR 9.90 a month and offers the main Belgian channels as well as a choice of French language channels; the complete line-up is RTBF La Une, RTBF La Due, RTL-TVI, Plug RTL, Club RTL, TF1, France Television (France 2, 3, 4 and 5), AB1, AB3, AB4, Dorcel TV, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, MTV and eight radio stations.
The Basic bouquet costs EUR 13.90 monthly and includes VRT een, Ketnet/Canvas, the MTV multiplex of music channels, AB Group thematic channels, ESPN America, TCM, Disney Channel, Virgin 17, Bébé TV, Hustler TV on top of the Basic Light line-up. The multiplex of movie channels from the Group AB is available as an option for EUR 5.95. The number of channels is expected to rise in the coming months.
Also on the cards is a launch of the TeleSat service in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. So far, there is no dedicated DTH platform available for the country.
