Czech adult channel fined

PK 62, the operator of the Czech adult channel Leo TV, has been fined CZK50,000 (€1,793) by the country’s Radio and TV Council (RRTV).

According to HN, the punishment has been imposed on the channel for broadcasting a programme that could “seriously impair the physical, psychological and moral development of children and young people.”

Leo TV, which is distributed by cable and DTH, received a warning from the RRTV for not flagging its programming as being unsuitable for children and adolescents soon after its launch last year.

PK 62 has been in the adult publishing business since 1990.
