TF1, M6 ad revenues down

The benefits of Franceís public service broadcasting prime-time advertising ban since January 5, do not seem to be flowing to TF1 and M6. Ad revenues were down 16% for TF1 between January 5 and 25 compared to the same period in 2008, acording to analyst Yacast.

The situation is much brigter for Canal+ and DTT channels, with ad revenues respectively up 20% (including a 26% rise after 8pm), and 78%.
