1992 Robert Redford's carefully crafted emotional drama about two very different brothers, brought up in a strict religious household and united only by a shared enthusiasm for fishing, who find their uneasy relationship cut short by tragedy. Starring Brad Pitt, Craig Sheffer, Tom Skerritt, Emily Lloyd and Brenda Blethyn. The leisurely pace is complemented by the gorgeous photography, and the tale itself works well thanks to good performances from the cast
