Portuguese private broadcaster SIC has recently approved a restructuring internal business model with the goal to adjust the company to the new audiovisual market rules. The new organizing structure has the conception, production and distribution of audiovisual contents as its core business.
The new model gathers the whole production chain of the company from the creative department to the final contents.
SIC's new general director is Luís Marques who will manage the following business units: Content, Commercial, Content Management and Distribution.
SIC has also implemented a Book of Proceedings in order to fix the principles and process rules to be adopted by the company's collaborators in their day to day work such as third parties’ relations with viewers.
