Eutelsat moves Kabelkiosk bouquet to new satellite

Eutelsat will move the KabelKiosk headend-in-the-sky from 8 degrees West to the new position at 9 degrees East. The operator will simulcast the bouquet for a period of three months from March 1.

The new Eurobird 9A satellite at the orbital position of 9 degrees East will take up service on March 1 and offer more capacity for a further growth of the Kabelkiosk offer to small and medium sized operators.

During the coming months, a Kabelkiosk team will organise a road show to inform cable operators of the changes, which will lead to a permanent switch-off of the current broadcasts at 8 degrees West on May 31.
