HD fever hits western Poland

The Polish regional cable operator INEA says it has experienced unprecedented demand for its HD offer.

Launched on December 9, it had already secured nearly 4,000 subscribers as of the middle of this has exhausted the supply of HD receivers it had allocated for the first quarter.

INEA, which is present in western Poland, provides TVN HD, TVP HD, Polsat HD, MTVNHD and the premium Filmbox HD and Canal+ HD in its HD offer.

INEA says it expects to its next order of HD receivers to arrive in late May/early June.
