Sea Launch Halts SICRAL 1B Launch

Sea Launch has halted preparations for the launch of the SICRAL 1B communications satellite due to further tests and verifications. The SICRAL was built by Thales Alenia Space, the dual-use Italsat 3000 spacecraft, with a mass of 3,038 kg , is designed to provide communications services for Italian Defense, NATO and allied nations. Expected service life for SICRAL 1B is 13 years.
