Bright House lauches Primetime on Demand
The Florida based cable operator Bright House Networks has launched Primetime on Demand, “a new way to watch episodes of several popular shows, such as ER and CSI, whenever you want to watch them”.
Primetime on Demand is a catch-up TV service and has programmes from NBC, CBS, USA, FX and SCI FI networks including Medium, Heroes, Survivor, NCIS, Nip/Tuck and Battlestar Galactica.
Episodes appear on Primetime On Demand as soon as the day after their original air date and remain on the service for up to four weeks. The service is available at no additional charge to digital cable subscribers.
Several Bright House Networks markets also offer Start Over, which allows Digital Video customers to re-start a program already in progress and then play, rewind, pause and resume the Start Over program during its original broadcast window.
Bright House Networks plans to continue the expansion of Start Over this year in other markets as well as adding this free feature to more channels, including HD channels, in existing markets.
