TF1 broke 1bn pages viewed in 2008
Developing digital and web activities as much as terrestrial broadcasting, TF1 has announced its online video offer, based on website TF1fr, on-demand service TF1Vision and video sharing platform WAT, recorded one billion pages viewed during 2008.
Between 4 and 6 million unique visitors watched video from TF1 programming online. The monthly average reached around 75 million pages.
Among stronger programming are real-TV show Secret Story that registered 115 million videos viewed over two months, as well as the winter version of adventure reality show Koh Lanta. This French version of Survivor reached more than 5 million pages viewed over one month.
The group is going to further develop its video offers as a new version of its website is under construction.
