Hungarian TV ad market stalls

TV ad spend in Hungary amounted to HUF71.5 billion (€243 million) in 2008, according to data produced by the Hungarian Electronic Broadcasting Association (MEME).
The figure represented an increase of only around 2% on the previous year’s total, as the effects of the global economic crisis began to bite, especially in the last quarter.
Radio ad revenues in Hungary meanwhile fell by 7% in 2008.
