Canal Overseas, a subsidiary of French pay-TV group Canal+ charged with international and overseas distribution, has officially launched its new bouquet Canal Overseas Maghreb in Morocco.

Composed of 25 channels, including among others Canal+, Canal+ Cinéma, Canal+ Family, but also France 2, France 3, TV5 Monde, and youth channels Piwi and Télétoon, the creation of this platform has been made possible by a partnership with satellite operator Arabsat.

The platform is more specifically dedicated to youth and family as channels will broadcast more than 800 movies each year, along with music. Soccer will also be well represented with three dedicated channels, OM TV, OL TV and Girondins TV.

Already available in Algeria, Canal+ Overseas Maghreb is accessible to Moroccan viewers through a set-top and with 6 or 12 month cards costing €110 or €220.
