France 24 talks Arabic 10 hours a day
Pascale Paoli Lebailly
France 24 is offering since yesterday ten hours of Arabic-speaking programming in that region each day instead of four previously, from 4pm until 8pm.
This new time-slot, now available from 2pm to 12pm, was kicked off by a special show from Cairo about France’s position in the Arabic world. France 24 wants clearly to strengthen in geographic areas where people do not speak languages other than Arabic.
