Sci-Fi to get new line up for launch
by David Allen
The Sci-Fi channel becomes Syfy in July, in a move that changes the genre of the channel from purely sci-fi to a more fantasy channel, which is more or less the position that it is in at the moment, with programmes like Eli Stone and Medium.
With these changes taking place, the sci-fi channel has also lined up some new brand programmes for the viewers to enjoy.
The first is the brand new series “Warehouse 13” which follows two secret service agents who are assigned to look after a building that houses every artefact the US government has ever come across.
Then there is a new series of Eureka.
Just these two shows are enough to guarantee that the audience remains stable, and as more new content comes along a lot of people will forget that the channel was ever called Sci-Fi.
