Prague prepares for D(igital) Day

The Czech capital Prague will become the first major all-digital region in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) tomorrow (May 1).

However, there are still some concerns as to the way the city has gone about the transition.

Quoted in HN, Petr Dvorak, the head of TV Nova, criticised the government’s inadequate information campaign, which the broadcaster had to reinforce with its own spots.

The latest findings from Mediaresearch point to 97% of homes in Prague now being prepared for the switchover.
