More choice for Akado subs
By Chris Dziadul
The Russian pay-TV operator Akado is to radically overhaul its programming structure.
From May 14, it will provide subscribers with thematic rather than basic or mandatory packages.
Akado will also begin using a single frequency for its services, which should help expand the number of channels and improve the quality of its signal.
Akado is based in Moscow and had 900,000 analogue and 320,000 digital TV subscribers as of the end of last year.
