Estonian ad market takes a hit

TV ad spend in Estonia in Q1 amounted to EEK77.1 million (4.93 million), or 29% less than in the same period in 2008, according to data produced by TNS Emor and AdEx.

It also accounted for 29% of an ad market worth EEK268.7 million, a 34% reduction on the Q1 2008 total.

Although newspapers were still the most lucrative medium, spend, at EEK89.8 million, was 45% down year on year.

Worrying, even internet expenditure was lower, down 11% to EEK37 million.
