A new board will be appointed to run the affairs of the Dominica Broadcasting Corporation (DBS). The revelation by Minister Responsible for Community Development, Culture, Gender Affairs and Information Loreen Bannis Roberts, comes amidst allegations that at least two members of the Board of Directors at DBS have been charging the corporation irrelevant fees.
DBS found itself at the center of allegations last week with accusations about board members and senior managers flying left right and centre. There have also been claims that top management of the government-owned institution are also being investigated for what are said to be telephone bills ranging from $15,000 to $18,000.
