Dutch culture channel BravaNL launch

The new Dutch culture channel BravaNL will launch July 1st on the UPC and Lijbrandt Telecom networks in Haarlem and environs as part of basic analogue.
The channel was selected by the regional programme council to be part of the basic analogue tier. Such recommendations are compulsary for cable operators.
BravaNL is the Dutch version of the international BravaHDTV channel specializing in showing performing arts. The company also operates the Dutch language music channel Oranje TV and Schlager TV, specialising in this special brand of German language music.
BravaHDTV is available across Europe on selected networks in The Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slowakia, France and Portugal. Negotiations are under way for distributio in Poland, Spain and Switzerland.
