Historical benefit for Hispasat
Spain's satellite operator Hispsat made a €47 million profit last year, 31.6% more than in the previous year, according to company president Petra Mateos.
According to Mateos, this figure multiplies by more than 21 the result from 2004 and once again surpasses the historial maximum of the company.
EBITDA was at 80.81% of the company's total results, 16% more than in 2004.
Hispasat's president said the operator has a "solid" financial structure and a capacity to generate money which allows it to tackle its future investment compromises which the company wants to be compatible with a controlled profit share to its shareholders.
Finally, Hispasat's investment plans for the launch of its next three new satellites stands at €500 million.
