A localised SD version of History has made its debut on the Eurocom Cable platform in Bulgaria and will be followed by History HD in the third quarter.

Localised History and History HD channels are also set to launch on the IPTV platform Planet 9 in Slovenia, where they are already available via T2, SBB, UPC and Tus Telekom.

History and History HD are also offered in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Montenegro.
Both channels are operated by The History Channel UK, a joint venture between ATN and BSkyB.
