AT&T launches In-Car satellite TV

by David Allen

The US based satellite provider AT&T has launched an in-car satellite service that is capable of providing satellite TV into a moving vehicle anywhere within the US.

CruiseCast was announced earlier on in the year, and now it has been launched offering forty two channels of satellite TV and radio services to the vehicle, no matter where it is located.

The system runs by utilising a rear seat entertainment centre, allowing passengers to view the channels while being driven around.

The initial cost of the equipment and installation will be around 700, but customers will also need to subscribe to the CruiseCast satellite service, which will cost around 20 per month for the full in-car satellite service.
