VOO, the combined Walloon cable operators, are rolling out their 320 GB PVR under the name VOOcorder. At the same time, they have improved their digital TV offer.
The VOOcorder costs €6 a month and competes with the IPTV service Belgacom TV. An installation and activation fee of €100 is also payable, with a technician from VOO installing the equipment and explaining it to subscribers.
VOO has added the HD channels TF1 HD, France 2 HD, TV Ushuaïa HD, 13th Street HD and Eurosport HD to the line-up.
The digital SD offer has also been expanded with the channels RTBF3, Eurosport, 13th Street, Ushuaia TV, Disney Channel, Gulli, KidsCo, I-Concert, MTV base, Contact Vision and TVE 24Horas.
VOO is now in the process of upgrading all of its networks and claims 90% of all its connected homes will be 2-way capable before the end of the year.
VOO is also introducing a VOD service, with an initial offer of about 1,000 movies and documentaries.
