    CCcam + NewCS for Dreambox 7020 si Help

    Hi Folks,
    I have a Dreambox 7020 + Nabilo image + 1 Official Seca card + 1 Official Irdeto card (both cards in the DM internal card reader) and 1 Gamma card in USB phoenix reader.
    I would like to use CCcam2.1.1 + NewCS1.66, when I put the CCcam2.1.1 + NewCS1.66 EMU to the DM, I couldn't see the cards.
    Could someone please give me an example of a working NewCS configuration in DM7020, I know I have to change something in var/tuxbox/config/newcs.xml, but I am confused

    Thanks

    Re: CCcam + NewCS for Dreambox 7020 si Help

    NewCS1.66 will not work properly with gamma card..... you need to try older versions...... phoenix device.... but not internal reader

    anyway newcs is public and all needed setups are in readme

    example for upper and lower cardreaders

    <readers name="SCI">
    <device>

    Thanks mate for your reply, will try them and I will let you about my results.
    What about USB Smartgo instead of Phoenix in DM 7020?

    Re: CCcam + NewCS for Dreambox 7020 si Help

    load the smargo drivers to your DM at first (usb to serial)

    then your crypto card will work with NewCS just fine
    official idreto maybe
    Gamma almost for shure not

    never tried NewCS 1.66 for that purpose.... but
    the problem is When having a lot of advantages never versions of Newcs have a very bad irdeto support..... besides Newcs still strugling to use smargo properly..... CCCam have more support for smargo from that point of view

    Re: CCcam + NewCS for Dreambox 7020 si Help

    Thanks mate for your precious advices.
    The reason why I wanted to try NewCS was I am using CCcam2.1.1 in my DM7020 and I have tried smartgo to read the Gamma card without success.
    I have loaded the smargo drivers to DM and have tried different conbinations in the CCcam.cfg with no positive results:
    SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB0
    SMARTCARD WRITE DELAY: /dev/ttyUSB0 10000
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttyUSB0 6000000
    CAMKEY: /dev/ttyUSB0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    CAMDATA: /dev/ttyUSB0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/ttyUSB0

    Thanks again

    Re: CCcam + NewCS for Dreambox 7020 si Help

    Thanks Some888 for all your help, I managed to setup CCcam2.0.11 + NewCS1.65 on my Dreambox 7020 and everything is working thanks to your advice, I have not tested the phoenix card yet.
    But, could you please direct me to how to open the port in NewCS so that my peer (brother) 5 miles away can connect to my server.
