M6 and Canal+ announced they have jointly secured the rights to UEFA’s new Europa League for the next three seasons. M6, which will broadcast the final match, will get the first choice on the meetings.

Matches will be carried in HD on both M6 and sister DTT channel W9 as well as on website m6.fr and on mobile in offers that include M6 channels.

For its part, French pay-TV channel Canal+ will broadcast 205 matches, including 190 live. Canal+ Sport , that already broadcasts Champion League matches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, will offer matches from this competition each Thursday. Europa League’s other matches will be shown on both Canal+ Sport and Foot+.
