French broadcasters M6, TF1 and DTT channel Direct 8 have made official offers to get the broadcasting rights of the French football team between 2010 and 2014.
Which broadcaster has won the decision on the call for bids will be known on July 21.
Direct 8 has applied only for lot 3 that offers a magazine, while leaving private networks TF1 and M6 the fight for lots 1 and 2. The first lot includes qualification matches for Euro 2012 and World Cup 2014 while lot 2 includes Les Bleus’ friendly matches.
Until next year, TF1 owns the rights for all the matches it acquired for a total amount of €45 million.
