Kabelsignal Austria takes KabelKiosk

Austrian cable company Kabelsignal will distribute channel packages offered by Eutelsat’s direct-to-cable platform KabelKiosk on its cable network from November.

An agreement has now been concluded, Eutelsat visAvision announced in Cologne, explaining that the collaboration comprises the distribution of pay-TV packages FamilyXL and Sports as well as foreign language channels.

Kabelsignal, a subsidiary of energy supply company EVN, reaches around 200,000 households in lower Austria, Burgenland and parts of Steiermark. KabelKiosk supplies more than 250 cable operators with digital free-to-air and pay-TV offers. The partners reach a total of around 2.8 million households in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxemburg and Denmark.
