SK Broadband introduces new IPTV service
South Korean telco SK Broadband has introduced a new version of its IPTV service, dubbed 'Broad & IPTV 2.0', at a launch event at company headquarters in Seoul earlier this week, according to reports in local news website JoongAng Daily.
The new service includes a range of new advanced features, according to the reports, including the facility for users to pre-select the channels and genres that they watch most frequently and create their own programme schedules. SK Broadband is thought to be currently on around 132,000 IPTV subscribers, trailing behind rivals LG Dacom on 189,000 subscribers and KT, which has around 274,000 customers.
