JSTV signs distribution deal with Thema

JSTV (Japan Satellite TV Europe), the Japanese overseas TV service for expats, has entered into a distribution agreement with the Paris based agency Thema for its European distribution.
Since it inception in 1989, JSTV has been the one and only Japanese satellite TV service in Europe delivering a wide range of the latest TV programmes including live news, dramas, sports (Sumo, Japanese Baseball), award winning films/animations and news mainly provided by state broadcaster NHK.
Thema has also announced the launch of JSTV with the French IPTV operator Free. JSTV is available as an “à la carte” option for €49 per month, offering JSTV 1 and JSTV 2.
