2 dreamboxes on same network.

hi im new here nice to meet you guys.. im very new to the dreambox scene to so excuse my ignorance.. so basically i want to use two dreamboxes (500s & 800hd) in same house. i have the 500 working away from a server just want to know what exactly do i do to put the other one on to the network. using gemini 4.2 image in both boxes

Do you want 2 dm on internet???
Then you need 2 dyndns ip & use inadyn to update each one
A very good internet speed
You need two different ports open on router & firewall
A different local IP for each dm

Hi

You need 2 dyndns IP (simulate fix IP) eg. toto.dyndns.org & titi.no-ip.org

Usually a router can update 1 IP translation but I think 2 isn't possible
Why!!! because keys need to know the good way to find your internet dream connexion.
Your provider change every X time your public IP then you need to use inadyn on the 2nd dream & router autoupdate on 1st (or inadyn on each dream if you don't want set router)

Best way, use a cardsharing tutorial & apply it on each dream
Select different dyndns IP & different ports for each one.

thanks for reply, used dchp to set up first box communication but cant use this again is this what your saying.basically im running cccam 2.0.9, i have a server who just sends me clines, so i will be getting a different cline for each box and just trying to have both online, so is this is possible and straight forward. i use the dcc program and just a little confused as were an extra box would fit in, on the program it shows a picture of a pc a router and dreambox and shows when all is connected what happens if i have extra box?

Dyndns IP is only use for internet connexion then yo need 1 different on each dm to exchange keys.

Dhcp is not the best way to connect dcc on dm
