dreambox500 and image on PC

hello, i have a dreambox 500 (gemini 4.06)at home and i would like to watch it on my pc, but it doesn't work.
i have installed vlc and dreamview but no image of my dreambox
what is the problem??

Hi

Only to test cause I never do this...

Dreamviewer on PC need to know the correct port to access dm video port
PC & dm need to be connected together trough router or by crossed rj45

I think you have to read more about dreamviewer and/or vlc how to
