What's mind problem on? your STb after boot stay on "ON"
if there is your probleme you have to flash it with the right frimware by using the serial port. If your serial port in not recognise by the PC you have to made a JTAG , more difficult try the first solution first for the JTAG look at the jtag thread in this section.

you have to check the power supply 5v and 3.3v if its ok then JTAG or DUMP
