Du and Eurosport Arabia form online partnership

Eurosport and UAE telco du are to launch an Arabic online sports portal in the first development of the organisations’ new partnership, it has been announced.
From next month, users across the MENA region will be able to select one of 12 customised Eurosport Arabia landing pages.
“The Eurosport brand is well established and is one of the most predominant brands in the world of sport,” said Osman Sultan, CEO, du, speaking at the announcement of the service.
“The traditional business of the telco is changing everyday. We believe that being associated with the world of content and offering more than just communication services is fundamental for our future,” he added.
Arabic language editorial will be produced from a hub office in Dubai Media City with a number of stringers covering sports news and events through the MENA region.
