I am somewhat new to this and would really like some help with this ...
My Setup:
I have the Infinity USB Phoenix cardprogrammer set up with the latest drivers from the manufacturer website (Software Version: 1.51, Driver Version 1.10, Firmware Version 1.06)
I have the old PIC DragonLoaderCard (F84A) as well as the PIC T-Rex LoaderCard (I assume it is also a F84A card).
My Problem:
I start the cardprogrammer-software with usb and serial-cable connected, select "Phoenix-mode in 6.00 Mhz". The testprogramm (phsmtest.exe) from the manufacturer-website say that I am connected to Port 2 (which is correct).
Now, no matter what I do, I cannot make CIW Loader Dragon 1.2 connect to Port 2, nor does Dragonload.exe want to connect.
Now I can connect to the programmer with the Inifinity USB program. But, no matter which Card I select in the dropdown (DragonLoader, Goldcard, WaferCard 16F84(A)) it cannot write to the PIC-portion of the card. I am really going nuts here.
I have been trying for two days to fumble with the setup, trying all possible ways, reading the forum and the readmes.
What am I doing wrong? I know, that it worked before. Since I already upgraded the card a couple of times (approx. 6 months ago). I even bought the new T-Rex card to verify that my original one is not broken.
thank you so very much in advance
