I am having problems with this box it has a very poor tuner for weak signals . secondly it gives a message no signal when ever i change the channel then signal comes and message disappears . is there any solution for this ??
please recommend me a box , what do u think about opticum 8000 and golden interstar GI S 508 ??
Second one is a twin tuner , what does it means . it will cause problems for me or is it ok in the market.

hi , ive used a few different echolink stb,s and have found the tuners to be ok although the tuners on the older models, el 700/777/888 and 3020 super seem to give a 10%-15% higher quality reading than the later models,3020 plus,3030 plus usb and 5060ci. i havnt seen or used the recevers you mention so cant really give an opinion. a box with a twin tuner will give you the option to whatch 2 channels at once(pip) or if you have a hard drive you could record 1 channel while watching another although i think you would need a twin-output lnb for total flexibilty. sorry i cant give you anymore information.
ok thanks but i wanna change my box so i think i should go for opticum . one question about opticum , it can be patched or keys can enter via remote.
hi m8, sorry to say that i have no experience of the opticum receiver but ive had a look around the forums and they can be patched and upgraded with keys via the remote.
