*De Dr.HD F16 a Clarke-Tech:

1: Istalar mediante el cable null-módem [RS232] el firmware: F16_100.STB

2: Istalar mediante el cable null-módem [RS232] o USB: boot_HTM8000_7109.STB [part2]

3: Ya puedes istalar cualquier fimware del Clarketch sin tener que Spoofearlo.

*Reparar Clarke-Tech colgado en LOADER

1: Sacar las posibles tarjetas o PCMCIAS que pudieran encontrarse en el decodificador y desconectar todos los cables.

2: Apagar el decodificador del interruptor posterior y conectarlo al PC mediante el cable null-módem. [RS232]

3: Abrir el programa que se vaya a utilizar para la carga. (Ctechup, STBTool, AngelTool, etc)

4: Seleccionar el puerto COM correspondiente.

5: Elegir el firmware que se desee cargar. [*.STB]

6: Seleccionar "Start" o "Connect", el programa pedirá conectar el receptor.

7: Encender el decodificador accionando el interruptor posterior y la carga comenzará.

*Spoofear un firmware:
clarke-tech -> 10 a 22
Dr.HD F16 -> 22 a 10
Cambiar el valor de la 1a columna de la 2a fila con un editor Hex.

*Tipos de Firmwares Dr.HD F16:
20x -> firmwares orientados al 5100, compatibles con Ctech 5000 HD Combo Plus.
1xx -> solo incluyen actualizaciones basadas en los firmwares oficiales.
0.xx -> la nueva generación de firmware aún en desarrollo basadas en un nuevo boot con notables mejoras sobre las 1xx.
F16_?_Clarke.STB -> firmware preparado para meter en un Ctech por Usb o null-módem.

I was using Ctech firmware 2.08p and I tested some F16 2.xx firmware:
seems that remote control is not working when F16 firmware is downloaded.
Boot is version 4.00.
Any idea to let it work?

Is rare because the command is the same, test a reset factory (with buttons Forward)
What firmware did you post?

I solved installing in sequence the following firmwares:
F16_100 (after this I changed Language to English);
F16_120;
F16_207p.
Now seems it is working correctly, even without factory reset.

i have the ct5000cplus and reading this thread has got me interested in testing
the dr hd f16 firmware, first i have a few questions can you go back to the
ct5000cplus files after useing the dr firmware?
also where can i find the dr hd f16 firmware?
also is ther a tutorial on how to load and use it ?
