Technosat 1100 plus help>>No Audio

Dear Friends,
This I'm talking on Behalf of one of my Egyptian Friend Who recently purchased one Technosat 1100 plus to watch the African Cup , from a second hand market.It was working fine until he patched it with the new software version 7.44. After that he lost the audio of all channels.He taken it to one service centre and they fnally told ,they can't repair the problem?
I hope someone in this forum ,can help him to retrieve the receiver.
I believe he loaded the new version without reading the manual or may be he
neglected to check the existing receiver version bcoz on that readme file they mentioned to check .
1.The software version should be greater or equal to 5.0. 2.
2.The last 4 digit of manufacturing serial no. of the receiver should be above 6000. Note: Check the serial no. barcode on the back panel of the receiver
I checked the receiver ..it matches with the 2nd instruction.
