M-Vision ST5 Abracadabra card update using CAS Data

Is there a way of updating this card on M-Vision ST5? CAS data is availabe for the card but I have no way of applying.

Never been able to find keys.abr or main.abr

Have also tried using phoenix with casupg but get timeout error.

I've never been able to find the abr files either. I wonder if there is a way of converting the cas data to abr.

There are lots of programs for the Echolink/echostar but none I have looked at work. A program called Dz3LI_KeyEditor creates a .abs file but this does not update the Abra in a st5 box.

I have renamed a cas file to keys.abr and main.abr and the st5 box reports it is updating the abra card but the card still does not work. (hope I have not fried it)

I now know the sat boxes below are running on the same or very similar hardware/firmware and currently searching arabic/persian forums for further info (using google translate)

Latest

rename d_0104_00.cas to main.abr also had second copy of d_0104_00.cas named keys.abr but do not know if required
switch to fta channel
switch blocking off
remove card
select main.abr
will briefly prompt insert card
insert card....wait...........prompt appears updating 1/2 mins. second prompt updating but only for seconds
give it a try.......
Later found freezing may occur switching blocking back on and reboot
Also freezing caused by 203 scam. 131 scam works ok

Websurf. Thanks a lot for this info. I forgot to check back to see how you were getting on. Pity, I would of liked to have tried this. When you say "stopped working this morning no fix", do you mean the card fried or are you talking about when all abra's went off?

Moresat the team behind the card have changed direct and have not offered anymore updates. They may update again in the future.

Have now stubbled upon an update to make abra card work again for most of C+NL 19.2°E. Have posted on this board in a fresh thread
