DM 800 problem!

Hi,

My DM is was working fine since this morning.
Last night the lcd in front panel was showing the time normally but i was not able to turn on the DM(tried the remote control and the font button) so I disconnected the power cable.. After that my dreambox don't switch on...

Now when I plug the power cable, only the Ethernet light is on and the fan is turning, but nothing on the LCD....

any idea what happens ?

first of all: if your box has an fan it is a clonbox.
i had a similar problem with nothing showing on the lcd. after open the box it works for a while, but the same error comes again later. so i returned the box to the dealer.

hi, can you unplug the dm then afther five minute try again but press boton on the front panel at the same time and wait before remouve your fingel from the front panel and check if you have sommething in the leed

i tried it many times and nothing change...

is there any way to full reset the box software, something like BIOS reset?

Keep power button pressed, stick in power supply again, check if the red light blinks. If not, no panic yet, leave as it is and try to TELNET to it now, if it has an ip from your router trough DHCP check ROUTER -> DHCP -> LAN CONNECTIONS and see if you can find your dreambox IP, if not, well , shouldn't have bought a clone ?

i think it's a very good clone then... :(
So it's probably the dreambox time bombe on the last gemini image that has cause this to my box!

Is there anything i can do ?!

If i change the Sim by a new one?
