Spanish radio station EsRadio, owned by journalist Federico Jiménez Losantos, is negotiating with the Intereconomía media group to bring the station to TV.

The group also has a DTT licence for Spain and according to market sources the conversations are very advanced and a final deal is pending only an agreement on advertising share.

EsRadio reportedly wants to obtain 75% of advertising incomes and to leave only 25% to Intereconomía, something which Intereconomía's executives are suggested to have expressed reluctance to.

A deal though is expected imminently and Federico Jiménez Losantos himself appeared on several Intereconomía's programs driving great interest
