Tool to use dreamboxedit to renumber the MCE channels

Start DVBLink configuration – in sources, synchronize all dreambox tuners
Goto server configuration
Remove your previous tuner setting in channel selection and select the new downloaded channels as setup.
Close dvblink configuration
New file C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink2\DVBLinkChannelStorage.xml is saved
Copy DVBLinkChannelStorage.xml to a new location to be processed
Set configuration file of DVBLogicChannelUpdater.exe
InFile – points to your copied DVBLinkChannelStorage.xml file
CatDir – directory of the dreamboxedit TV files
Catergories – makes a connection between the tv files of dreamboxedit & this tool and specify start numbering for the favorite.
Format: “favorite name”;”start number”; dreamboxedit TV f ile name
Specify your favorites in dreamboxedit & link them with the tv file on your dreamboxedit location. Separate them with “;”. Also indicate the start channel number in MCE.


Run DVBLogicChannelUpdater.exe
Stop DVBlink server
Make backup of original C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink2\DVBLinkChannelStorage.xml
Copy processed DVBLinkChannelStorage.xml to original location
Start DVBlink server
Start DVBLink configuration
Goto server confirguration and check new channel numbering

I enclosed the source code & binary. You need .net 4.0 to run the the binary.
