Eutelsat’s German direct-to-cable platform KabelKiosk is extending its foreign-language line-up with a pay-TV package with 18 Turkish channels that will be offered to collaborating cable operators who can deploy the service to their customers.
The first cable company to carry the new package will be Cologne-based NetCologne. The bouquet comprises channels from the Turkish language region including movie channel Yesilcam TV which will be available in Germany for the first time.
On board the offer are general interest channels like TRT Türk, Euro D, ATV Avrupa, Show Turk, Euro Star, Kanal 7 and Samanyolu TV Avrupa, news channels like Samanyolu Haber, Habertürk, TRT Haber and NTV Avrupa, music channels Kral TV and TRT Müzik, documentary channel TRT Belgesel and cultural channel Mehtap.
KabelKiosk feeds its packages to the head-ends of participating cable operators through Eutelsat’s Eurobird 9A satellite at 9° East.
